South Bend Revitalization Team is always looking for new ways to improve the 101 Corridor through South Bend so residents and tourists alike can enjoy the peaceful ambiance and great scenery that is South Bend.

Pedestrian Friendly

SBRT is hard at work planning with the Department of Transportation, Transportation Improvement Board, Department of Community Trade and Economic Development as well as the City of South Bend to make improvements in Downtown South Bend for a more friendly atmosphere. The goal is to make South Bend a place on the Map where everyone would love to stop and shop and enjoy the day.

Nature at its best

The Audubon Society has recently added South Bend to the Southwestern loop of the Great Washington State Birding Trail. A nature trails walkway is being worked on and will soon be available to birdwatchers, nature lovers, and everyone alike. South Bend is located in the Pacific Flyway so many migrating birds travel past at different times of the year.
